Clean and Simple the way life should be.
Welcome - Willkommen - Fáilte
Life is passion. Without it, what are we even doing?
Some of the things that make me happy: supporting Grahamville Rescue and Sanctuary, great food, my family, travel, music, and, of course—technology. I get up in the morning because of my family, but I love what I do. I sit at a keyboard and bring ideas to life. What starts in my head turns into something that moves in the real world—and that is still awe-inspiring.
But somewhere along the way, a lot of people lost sight of that wonder. We’ve become jaded by technology—the abuses, the overreach, the monotony. It wasn’t that long ago that simply viewing a web page was cutting-edge. Now, people grow up with technology all around them, unaware of how extraordinary it truly is.
Sure, sometimes it’s tedious. Ever parsed event logs only to find a domain controller throwing DNS errors—then checked the controller itself and discovered replication failures, only to realize it had been tombstoned? No? Just me?
Ever run full incident response because an intern, on day one, started chatting with a phisher over email? If you’re thinking, Wait, what?—I get it. But if you’re thinking, Yeah, I’ve been there—you’re my people.
I’m an infra/ops vet, but my education is in Cyber Security—and honestly, that experience has made me better all the way around. Back when I came up, Cyber wasn’t a separate discipline—it was just more tech. We played with terminal on Windows 3.1, loaded our own protocols like sliding z-modem, and connected to BBS using custom session protocols because it let us download faster.
That’s how things started. And that passion—for learning, for building, for breaking things just to make them better—has stayed with me ever since.
Even before the first consumer-friendly PCs, I was into technology. My journey didn’t begin with the internet boom or modern OS interfaces; I was already working with CP/M before the Vic-20 even existed, adapting and evolving as technology transformed. The digital world wasn’t something I entered—it’s something I helped build, from the ground up.
If you’re wondering what gets me out of bed every morning—it's simple. My wife and my dogs. You know the phrase a boy and his dog? Well, MY dog is a gift from my wife, and I wear my heart on my sleeve—quite literally.
Beyond being a giant softy, my career has been anything but. I've spent my life at the cutting edge of the IT world, shaping the digital landscape in ways most people never think about. From pioneering digital video to exploring the depths of hacking and phreaking, I’ve worked alongside—and learned from—some of the most brilliant minds in the industry. Innovation has never been something I simply watched unfold; it’s something I’ve lived.
